These dishes have a mermaid - like scalloped pattern! A scalloped rolling pin design was used to emboss each into stoneware clay and shaped to a rounded dish.
Wouldn't this be a perfect soap dish, candy dish, candle holder, or whatever you can think of? Generous size for use as a coaster for a large glass or mug.
Approximate measurements are 5" across, and about 1/2" tall. Each is finished in nautical blue tone, food safe glazes. Safe for the microwave or dishwasher. The bottoms are glaze free, but come with felted pads to protect your furniture.
