Michigan Lower Peninsulas Stoneware Clay Soap Dish, Spoon Rest, Tea Bag or Ring Holder

The lower peninsula of the Great Lakes state on each of these stoneware clay dishes was created with a cookie cutter and attached to a shallow clay dish. The white dish is embossed with a mermaid tail design, and has random splashes of blue. The dark peach/tan dish is embossed with a floral pattern.
Perfect to use as spoon rest or ring holder, but it is big enough to hold a generous bar of soap! The Michigan cut out will allow wet soap to dry and not get soggy.
The white dish has a satin/matte glaze finish, while the other is glossy.
The back is unglazed, and measures 4-5/8" diameter; about 1/2" tall.

3 dimensional roses adorn each of these stoneware clay dishes that were first stamped with a rose garden motif. Each is finished with a combination of food safe glazes that resulted in a unique, one of a kind colors!

The blue dish was glazed with a white underglaze that resulted in a satin/matt finish. the remaining dishes are glossy.
The peach dish with beige undertones has a random dot of a dark glaze. A sure sign of handmade!
Glaze on the brick red dish got a little thick so some of the stamped pattern is obscure; however, it is still a beautiful dish!
The back on each is unglazed, and measures 4-5/8" diameter; about 1/2" tall.

These dishes have a mermaid - like scalloped pattern! A scalloped rolling pin design was used to emboss each into stoneware clay and shaped to a rounded dish.

Approximate measurements are 5" across, and about 1/2" tall. Each is finished in nautical blue tone, food safe glazes. Safe for the microwave or dishwasher. The bottoms are glaze free, but come with felted pads to protect your furniture.

Stoneware Ceramic Sunflower Pillar Candle Holder

Bring nature indoors with this unique handmade sunflower candle holder.
Stoneware clay was rolled out and hand cut into the various pieces of the flower and base. Then they were carefully pieced together for a 3 dimensional look. Once dried and fired, it was hand-painted and fired again to bring out the warming colors. Felt pads have been added to the bottom to protect your furniture.
The holder measures approximately 4-3/4" wide x 5-3/4" tall, and about 4-1/2" deep. It will holder a candle approximately 3-3/4" in diameter.
Candle is not included.

Stoneware clay was sandwiched between 2 vintage doilies and then cut into the shape of the dragonfly wings. Watermelon and Smoky Merlot glazes were used on the top, while a black underglaze was used on the bottom to accentuate the doily. Metal wire beads were added for the head and body, which can be adjusted to just about any position.
The holes in the wings allow you to hang the dragonfly as if it is in flight, or use the wire through the head to hang it another way.
The wings are approximately 9-1/2" wide, and the body is approximately 8-1/2" from head to bottom of tail.
Ready to hang.
It is recommended to bring it inside during the cold winter months.
