Ceramic Doily Pattern Dragonfly in Smoky Merlot and Watermelon with Metal Beads Wall or Garden Art

This dragonfly would be a lovely addition to your garden! Or perhaps you have a blank space on your wall that you just don't know what to fill it with!
Stoneware clay was sandwiched between 2 vintage doilies and then cut into the shape of the dragonfly wings. Watermelon and Smoky Merlot glazes were used on the top, while a black underglaze was used on the bottom to accentuate the doily. Metal wire beads were added for the head and body, which can be adjusted to just about any position.
The holes in the wings allow you to hang the dragonfly as if it is in flight, or use the wire through the head to hang it another way.
The wings are approximately 9-1/2" wide, and the body is approximately 8-1/2" from head to bottom of tail.
Ready to hang.
It is recommended to bring it inside during the cold winter months.

First the doily was rolled into the clay, and then the clay was draped into a bowl mold. The finished glaze resulted in a variety of shades of blue, with a little hints of brown. This is food safe and could also be used to hold a generous amount of bird feed.

Fused Glass Fish Bones and Lazy Days Plasma Cut Metal Black Cat Wind Chime with Copper Wire

The combination of materials in this piece is just adorable!
A Lazy Days cat was cut from 14 gauge sheet metal, and coated with a flat black paint. Fish bones on blue fused glass were attached with fishing line for a delicate tinking sound.
Please be sure to bring this wind chime in during the winter, and on high wind days to avoid glass breakage.
The overall length, including the copper wire, is approximately 20-3/4" tall, and is about 12" wide. The glass can detach from the copper hooks for ease of storage.
